Redline Takeoff
Overview
Redline Takeoff is an extension of Redline Planroom that allows for users to "takeoff" a sheet in order to accurately determine cost and materials for a construction project. Redline Takeoff is one of two cloud based takeoff softwares available. Redline Takeoff works by scaling a document using an on-screen scaling tool or picking a pre-defined scale for a sheet (ex: 1/4 inch=1 foot). After calibrating a sheet, all measurements tools made afterwards are completely accurate.
Above is a partial image of my testing sheet for all of Takeoff's measurement types that include various different parameters, cutouts, etc..
Features
Sheet calibration for accurate measurements.
Roofing pitch/angle for accurate roof areas.
Importing Google Map roofs for quick and easy roof takeoffs.
2D(area) and 3D(volume) wall takeoffs.
Linear measurement tools including segmented lines, pitched lines, ruler, and regular polygon tool.
Measurement cutouts for subtracting area or volume.
5 pdf reports and excel exports for generating material lists, group takeoff summaries and totals, and individual measurement reports.
Technologies
All of the technologies that Redline Planroom includes.
All of the measurement calculations are completed internally.
SVG Intersection libraries for cutout tools not extending beyond their parent SVG shape.
