The Google Maps tool allows construction users to import a google map image into any feature in ConstructionOnline. It can also be imported directly into Redline Planroom for marking up or Redline Takeoff for constructing a takeoff on the image.

This tool was built using the Google Maps Javascript API & the Google Maps Static API. However, the Google Maps Static API is limited to a 512x512 image results. I got around this limitation by simply stitching multiple 512x512 sections together and cropping the resulting image to the client's desired dimensions.
